Frequently Asked Questions
Why does FLAG FREE keep my flag untangled?
Our unique design including a bearing with a flag tie mount allows the flag to freely rotate on the pole and remain untangled.

What if I need a new flag, can I use the Flagfree untangler again?
Yes, you can reuse our device by replacing the plastic tie wrap and reattaching it to the bearing with either glue or two-sided tape. The plastic ties can be purchased at any hardware store. We ship our devices with the 11 size. A 9 or 10 inch will also work well.

How long does it take for my order to arrive?
We do our best to fill orders within 2 days of your order being placed, it is then shipped US mail and it should arrive 2-5 days from the shipment date. When volume is high this may take a little longer.

How do I find out when it was shipped?
Just e-mail us at info@flagfree.com and we will check on it for you. We make every attempt to answer e-mail within 2 business days.

How hard is it to install?
The kit has very easy to follow directions and it only takes a few minutes to install to your existing flag and pole.

What size pole does this work for?
The kit is made for the standard 3/4 diameter pole that comes with most 3 by 5 flags.

What if my flag still wraps around the pole?
Your flag should not tangle or wrap completely around the pole, but in light breezes at times the end of the flag lands partially on the pole, the next breeze should free it up. In extremely windy conditions adding a 1/8 wooden dowel in the seam of the flag will further prevent temporary wrapping.

What if I want to get a refund after purchasing from the Flag Free website?
We will happily refund your purchase price (less shipping and handling charges) if you are not satisfied. Just return the bearing to us in good condition and we will provide a refund immediately.

What should I do if the bearing does not fit snugly on the top of the pole?
The bearing is made to fit the standard pole, but if your pole is a little out of round you may not have a perfect fit. To solve this, put a little glue on the top of the pole before placing the bearing on the the pole.
